Yes there is!. The US focuses more on basic knowledge, but is even lacking in that!. They really only care about kids passing, doing the least amount in order to graduate!.

If anything, the US should model its schools after the Scandinavians'!. Where they focus more on actually learning!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Without a doubt!. Evaluate the popularity of infomercial products in the United States today, and it's clear that thousands upon thousands of Americans are gullible!. They are just gullible enough to believe that they can lose 25 pounds in a week, or make $250,000 a year selling cheap lead-laden Chinese toys from a catalog!. While it's not the only example, it provides a solid example of why emphasis of critical thinking processes should make a stronger appearance in the US education system!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

People keep their beliefs because it serves a purpose to them!. The outsider can easily criticize the problems of their thinking, but until you understand who they are and where they are coming from, you might have missed the point!.

Expecting others to see things the way that we do overlooks our own biases and problems with our own thinking!.

Yes, and well!.!.!. welcome to Earth!. There is and always has been a (significant) lack of critical thinking and judgement in the US and every nation!. That's just how it is, and part of having good judgement ourselves is avoiding the temptation to shake our fists at whole groups of people!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

YES the other day i saw a case in america where this guy got 62 years to life in prison for stabbing his wife in ireland you would only get about 2 years for that and if you murder someone in ireland you would only get 7years
