Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Doing something that not only doesn't benefit you!.!.!.make you stronger and smarter as a person!.!.!.but also tears you a part slightly each moment you do it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com wasting time is when you have a goal you are trying to achieve, but as a result of your ignorance you do something that isn't the best means to your goal, when you should be doing another thing which is the best means to your goal!. No one wants to waste the time they have to achieve their goals, but it happens when people are ignorant of the correct choices to make to achieve their goals!. Socrates once said to know the good, is it do the good!. And he is right!. If one knows what actions will best allow one to achieve ones goals, then one does those actions (one doesn't waste their time doing something less productive)Www@QuestionHome@Com 'Waste' or 'Useful' are relative terms, and as such there cannot be any specific definition for them!. What is useful to one may be a waste of time to me!. To each, according to their perceptions!. Is there really any waste of time!? It depends, one may be too quick to grasp a thing, whereas another may takes weeks to do the same thing!. How can you define the waste of time here!? Www@QuestionHome@Com a "waste of time" is any period of time that yields no product (be it a decision or a physical product crafted) despite product being the intention!. i actually have a long, little sense associated, rant on the topic of time and things related!. (ignore this if you happen to be allergic to random craziness) Time, Minds, and the Tragic (!?) Waste of Both "A mind is a horrible thing to waste but time is precious too!. Great minds ponder which often leads to not so what is a bigger waste of time!? Minds can be lost just as easily as time and the passing of time often causes the passing of mind so when one is losing both time and mind what could be a worse waste!? But is a lost mind truly lost or perhaps capable of not but pondering without ability to reason or determine!? So the mind is not truly wasted, simply the time slips away!. And this is time passing just as it normally would so perhaps not is lost at all!. But the purpose of pondering is to make sense of and without an audience, which lost minds usually lack, making sense is lost upon society!. So are mad-men our best thinkers or simply those that get to waste the most!? Dependent or leaders, it is a matter of perceptions it seems and perceptions are but…!.they are but a train of thought for a different night!. Thought, thinkers, and time, all makes good food for the brain but is without true conclusion without a bias of some sort!. Lacking this bias, except perhaps being mad myself, I am left with not but wondering…!.where does this leave me!?"Www@QuestionHome@Com The only time wasted is that which we use and do not take enjoyment from!. Like for me, laying in bed all day with my partner is one of the best uses of time I can imagine!.!.!.!.to some however, it could be seen as a waste of time because it is not being "productive" in certain senses of the word!. Yet I know different!. Some people just can't slow down and realize that the old quote holds true : Time you enjoyed wasting is not wasted time!.
