It helps me :) Well, i didn't write everyday!. I wrote when my mind filled with ideas or feelings!. Ex!.when I'm sad, i write certain words that described my feelings!. After doing that usually I felt better since it seems like those feelings move to the paper!. Writing your thoughts might help you to remember it and you can evaluate them easier!. I have a diary of thanks, where I write down two things that i was thankful for that day!.!.!. reading back through them is really helpfuk to see how I've changed over the past few months, and to remember really happy days, and really sad days when I couldn't find much to be thankful for!.

This is a really short diary type thing that I do, so if you wanted to do something more in depth, I'm sure it would be great!.

If you want to write about the things that your mind is "racing" about, i suggest you keep a small notebook with you and write down some of the thoughts you're having, ecspecially really important ones so you don't forget them!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

As you are writing, the moments of you writing your feelings will sometimes ease the burden you are feeling at that moment!. And sometimes it really helps but not all the time!. Cause when your mind settled into something it stop there!. Diary helps pass the time for time being and makes you think and be organized!. But it is you who are planning and you are the one making the decision not the diary!. It is just laying out your thoughts!. A blue print of what is your ideas according to your feelings!. So better think of what to do!.!.!.!.and what is best!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Journaling/blogging/having a diary is a lot like having a flash drive for your mind!. Instead of saving things on the hard drive (your mind) and eventually using up all the memory and causing a "crash," save things on the flash drive (your journal) for future reference and to keep the hard drive (your mind) clear for the more important functions!.

All computer comparisons aside, journaling really does help free up your mind and if you go back and read what you write you can gain some perspective on what it is your mind really focuses on!.

yes it helps a lot!. you organize your thoughts and review your understanding of situations, very often you change your mind and freshen up your thoughts - the basis of all your actions!.

i used to write and found it very interesting as every time I came back and read my own words i found them strange, wrong and twisting the truth!.

try it, you will be amazed!.

Writing in a diary gives you the opportunity to go back and read about the details and the emotions of your past!. There are many incidents in my history, both good and bad, that I'd love to be able to relive in that way -- but, I didn't write them down!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Personally, I don't, but I really think I should!. I think it's a very good idea!. It can help to sort out your thoughts, and if you're a writer it's especially important!. All sorts of good ideas can spring from what you write on a daily basis!.
Good luck

If you are constantly inspired by creative ideas, writing them down in a diary in order to combine them later into stories is not a bad idea!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
