it depends entirely on what you define success to be!. if success is olympic gold, then most definetly, others must fail!. OR they could succeed too, because their definition of success may not have been to win, it could have been to beat their PB or make the finals!.

if you define success as a happy life, or achieving your goals, then it is quite possible others wont have to fail for your success!.

Failure of others has nothing to do with Your success!. Especially that often You have same goals and You may need some other to succeed with something so then You can do Your job!. also remember it is Your life, Your failures are only Yours - do not blame others for them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
