Sit and think about it!. Get some quiet time alone and analyze your priorities!. If you have trouble doing this, you can always talk to the one person who will always listen!. It has often been in my best interest to talk to God about it!. It doesn't matter whether or not you believe in Him, for he will always listen!. I often find that problems would no longer trouble me after I talked to Him!. Now, I don't have any problems or worries because of my Faith!. If you Trust in Him, you won't be troubled any more!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

definitely go to school!. School will help you gain direction and teach you to articulate what you already know are "good skills"!. Employers need someone that can confidently handle the tasks required, school can help build that confidence!.

also, school can make you qualified for even better jobs!Www@QuestionHome@Com

My suggestion would be to substitute seeing/visualizing yourself getting and performing your dream job instead of the lottery, and see how you get on!.

Stick with the program and stay focused!.

I know a phenomenally wealthy man who, at a dinner show with me and some friends one night told me one of his secrets: 1!. know what you want, 2!. ask for it, 3!. expect that you will recieve it!. He seems to have many little proverbs though, and has taught his daughter everything he knows and now his daughter is exceedingly wealthy (I don't want to give numerical figures because these are private matters)!.

You may have many skills but the question is what motivates you!?
It shoud be something that you have some ability at and that you love to do!.
If you have the drive to succeed in a field you will advance in that field in time with patients!.

1!. Check government labor statistics on their web site, this will show you what is in demand and so on!.!.!.!. many stats!.
2!. Continually revise and taylor your resume for the particular jobs you apply for!.
3!. Write an essay on why you want to be a nurse (or fire fighter, or chef, or astronaut, or fashion designer, interior decorator, advertising director, architect, etc!.!.!.!.!.)
4!. Make a list of skills you have, make a list of skills you want to acquire!.
5!. Network, network, network (at least thats what the experts say who are career councilors, and others say that as well, this is very important!.
6!. Talk to prospective employers about the nature of a certain job to see if it is a fit for you or not, and in connection with that be honest in the interview, the more honest you are in interviews the more honest you will be with yourself and that will help you to find yourself, and in finding yourself you will find what you need to do!.
7!. aptitude tests are generally a waste of time, but if they are fun for you then ok, but just consider things you like and things that are practical!.
8!. Managers and company owners are not looking for someone who wants to run the business because they run the business, you have to be suited for the job you are applying for!.
9!. Now is a good time to start a business, though usually this requires money, there are some businesses that have little or no start up costs, but you would have to start that part time while working a "day job", if that is what you want to do (something like, bookkeeping, making soap, writing, etc!.!.!.)
10!. Don't sign anything, any contract, let someone knowledgable like a close friend who knows about law or business, read the contract as well!.
11!. Beware of some sales jobs; sometimes a sales manager uses people to get referrals for a product then when they can't sell xyz for $800, the sales manager turns around and sells it to them for $600, which you couldn't do because then you would have no profit, but the sales manager gets the product for less so he gets a profit!.
11!. So if you are unsure of a position, don't take it!.
12!. You must think of yourself as an independent contractor when you get a job, you make agreements with the company, you can set some of your terms, you don't have to agree with everything, but it depends, usually this is not a problem, if it is a lower level position and the company treats its workers fairly, then all is well!.
13!. If you are getting into real estate go with Remax!.!.!.etc!.!.

well thats a start!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
