Interesting question!. I have often wondered this, too!.

I think it depends!. If you have loved and lost because you were with someone who was deceiving you and then left you, then it probably would have been better not to have loved at all, because the love was based on false pretenses!.

If you loved, and then lost the person to death, or unfortunate circumstances, I definitely think it was better that you loved!. You still have the memories, and the knowledge that you were capable of the depths of love!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

This no matter how you slice it, it is devistating!. No one should have to endure this question!. It is better to love and be loved that's all!.
Loss is something we all have to face!. Love is something that we might get to give freelyWww@QuestionHome@Com

Both are disasters so you can't said one is better than the other!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, very much so, because failed love makes one wiser!. Never to have loved at all is a risky state of being!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
