Nature!. What happens decides how important a piece of obtainable knowledge is!. History is the key!. Philosophy is adopted from History and the way the world shapes itself!. Without history, we would always fail, every time!.

For example the American government can be seen as very analogical with Nazi Germany's government and the Spanish government of 1933!. These lessons and philosophies formed by them would be very important and suitable for today's society!.

What we see in this educational system is a horde of monotonous facts and lessons that slow down the subject's eager to learn and poison the mind!. These lessons include Evoltution, a false-look at the creation of America, and American history itself!.

Tha value of philosophy is measured by the situation, and the surroundings of the subject of which they are in!.

Philosophy has no value, but in the same breath it is priceless!. In monetary terms you'll get nothing from Philosophy!. But the wisdom, as opposed to knowledge, is of different value to different people at different times, in different places, at different ages!. Thus, every body, somewhere on this planet is gaining something from philosophy, right now!. That means that YOU decide the value of that "cliche'!. (which are the shorthand notes of philosophy)!.

Logic is only one part of philosophy and of course that part is indeed based on logic!. Ethics are not based on logic they are based on, well, ethics!. Epistomology and Metaphysics have their own eccentricities!. In the end its all in the heads and hearts of humans!.

Unless of course you believe in Platonic Forms (where concepts exist outside of human experience and physical reality is just a manifestation of this but thats hard to accept - Plato had plenty of other good ideas though!.!.!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

i think everyone sees philosophy in a different way, thus philosophy's value differs to everyone!. a bit like science!. scientists would say science has a lot of value because it gives us answers to many things in our physical life, yet many non scientists would argue that science wsas made up by us, and we used our own logic to developement on other things!. philosophy too!. how do we know we actually exist and how do we actually know there are such things as 'who' and the mind and knowledge!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The logic of its reasoning, the ease of its practice and the melding of this practice into the culture of the race and community!.
