Yes!. You are looking at yourself differently in the picture than you did when it was taken!. (That was an awkward sentence, sorry!.) Then, you saw yourself in the mirror as you were!. You changed a little bit every day, so you don't really notice (like looking in the mirror now)!. Now, you look back at that picture while trying to conjure up a memory of what you looked like then!. How you actually were and your memory of then are not the same!. There are always subtle differences in memories, as opposed to the absolutely true reality of 'then'!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes!. I have been doing that recently as I scan and build a library of the photos of my childhood to give to my children!. I found some old photos of my early childhood in old Port Tampa, FL, during world war II!. I've been writing an autobiography of my episodic memories to go along with the photos!. Identifying strangers in the photos is a problem!.

Only in one of the photos did I not recognize myself!. But my older sister was able to confirm it was me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Actually, I didn't really start looking bizarre until I was in college!. There are some photos of me with slightly longer hair and a beard which some tend to find startling!. However, I really can't say that I can think of a single photo where I wouldn't recognize myself!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
