Mine - A decision to make a phone call or not!. I did and now I am married to the guy on the other end of the phone with 2 kids and very happy!. I truly have no idea where I would be otherwise, but I wouldn't have my 2 kids or my current life and that would be sad!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: haha yea I've seen that movie, but honestly, what if you didn't call your husband, maybe you would have met another good man that you would have built a family with!. When I first met my wife, we were dating other people!. Both of those relationships tanked--hers was particularly bad!. I called her after she had been dumped, and told her that it wasn't her fault!. It took a lot of nerve on my part to call her that first time, but that phone call led to another one, and to a first date!. Seventeen years later, she has never forgotten that first call, and she always tells me how happy it made her!. And I'm always glad to think that my decision made someone else feel better--and made me happy in the process as well!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I've never heard the term "sliding door moment", but I think I get the gist of what you're asking!. My moment of decision was whether to try to get my sons over to the local karate dojo in time to sign up for lessons through our town's Recreation Dept!. program!. I had less than 10 minutes to get the boys secured in the car and drive there!. It took me 2 minutes to decide whether or not to do it!. I did, and it ended up being very life changing!. I really don't know where I would be if I hadn't decided to do that!. I might still be in a very unhappy, declining relationship with my sons' father or I might have decided to try unsafe ways to make myself happy during that unhappy time!. OR I might have finally been able to figure out what steps I needed to take to change my situation myself in a positive way!. As it turned out, going to the dojo began a series of changes that just unfolded for me and changed my life and my sons' lives for the better!. I don't question the gift horse!Www@QuestionHome@Com OMG yes, I was thinking I was the only one!. It has happened alot to me, just last night we went out to an event and it's like it has already happened but with different people there, and even though I am married I had a different man next to me, I just sat there and felt a shiver go through me, and have not told anyone, as I thought they would think I was so weird!. I don't know why this happened, but when it ended (it was only a few seconds, but seem like forever) it was so relieved, I choose my right family!. Thank you for bringing that up!. In my a opinion its a myriad of sliding door moments that helped form our realities!. Going back even before we were born!. What if our parents made different innocuous decisions that kept them from meeting then their parents and so on!.!.!.!.
