Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Cruelty and kindness are the same thing!. When one is cruel, they are being kind to evil, and when one is kind, they are being cruel to evil!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Obviously you don't HAVE to be cruel to be kind!. But are there situations in which doing something that can be perceived to be cruel is actually in somebody's best interests!? John Stuart Mill argues that it is only up to the individual to determine what is best for them, and in that case being cruel to be kind is nonsensical!. However, others would argue that people do not always know enough to determine what is best for them, and even Mill agrees that children cannot be expected to know what is best for themselves!. I think making a child go to school even though he really doesn't want to so that he gets a better future is an instance where you can and should be cruel to be kind!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
