I think it's ironic, because Jesus never promised to bring peace to the world!. In fact, he promised to bring division!.

"Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth!. I did not come to bring peace but a sword!. For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s foes shall be they of his own household!." Matthew 10:34-36!.

In other words, he brings responsibility for one's actions, not peace as the world sees it!. Peace as the world sees it, is peace irregardless of one's choices!. That is not, and never was Jesus' message!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Jesus is nothing to do with the world peace!.

The peace which Jesus was talking is the peace with him!. If you belief and follow his teaching, Jesus will love you and has peace with you!. Otherwise, he will damn you to eternal!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
