In denial it is more that others deny that some can have a personal experience which the ones denying have not been able to have!. For the simple reason they place themselves before the very thing they are denying!. They are not able to place anything ahead of them selves!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If one is to take this as a question that points to a psychometric interpretation, then no one would reasonably deny the existence of intelligence, but rather different groups would (and do) argue about the nature of that entity and how it is to be described (in quantitative terms)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Socrates denied the existence of intelligence in mortals, claiming that 'knowledge is the property of the divine'!. On being accused of being a know-it-all he replied to all such accusations with 'all i know is that i know nothing'!.

So yes, one can!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
