My Mind/Self is a control system evolved to the task of my survival!. Specifically the collection of energy for the purpose of procreation!. Ego is the most obvious answer, but the issue remains why ego is so inevitable!. I believe that it is because our conscious creates self as the sole subject and all the rest as the objects!. It is inherently a perspective that rests within the self and views everything else from that platform!. Any cognizance or awareness experienced by the self as the subject therefore is dependent on the conscious grounded on the solid reality of self!.!.!.!.!.!. if this reality is demeaned, then entire awareness gets nullified and meaningless!. A philosophical extreme of this is the obvious reality that if self is negated, then there is nothing existent at all!. Thus the existence of everything is dependent on the reality of the viewing self and that implies that the most important reality is self without which there can be no other reality to be experienced by our conscious!. As egotistical as it sounds, most people, with the exception of a few by percentage view the world from their point of view!. Doesn't this then make oneself the most important person in the universe!? Why not see it from anothers point of view first!?
