its not about kindness or courage- it's about friendship- george would rather kill lenny himself than see him killed by the gaining mob!. it's the first book that ever made me cry, and i'd like to think, in that surreal situation, that i'd stand up and be counted!.
but then we'd all like to think that! lol! Www@QuestionHome@Com

no i dont think i would have the courage to do the same!. It is really a big step to kill your mate in "an act of kindness!."

please vote me for best answer- i'll be really greatful as i've never been voted before!. (i'll do anythin for ya :) Www@QuestionHome@Com

i'm not sure kindness is quite the right word, more he didn't want to see his friend suffer!.!. yeah, for want of a better term, it was an act of kindness!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
