I think pity can come from love, even the smallest trace of love!. You might be thinking, "Well I can feel pity for my neighbor but I don't necessarily love him!." But that would be the wrong interpretation of love!. I think that when you are sympathetic to another, you are showing a form of love, and sympathy and pity are kind of one in the same!. Even though you can look at pity as negative and sympathy as a more positive take on a situation, they are kind of the same!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, I supposed pity is a representation of love, and so love and pity sort of go hand-in-hand!.

love: compassion for each other

love is often (for me) is two sided
