In order to answer this in the best way possible, we would have to define what morality is or is not!. Everyone's answer to that question is completely subjective!. There's a general consensus over many "moral" standards, but no absolutes!. Societies evolve, for better or worse, over time!. Look to our past!. Are we less moral now than we were just 200 years ago when slavery was a common practice!? Women used to be completely under the thumb of the man!. Women could expect to be pregnant by age 16, and this was common not long ago!. Public executions took place for all to see!. Orgies!. Coliseums of death!. I could go on!.
The point being that what is common place or acceptable in a society will always evolve, will always change!. Perhaps people are learning that the notion of marriage is quite a farce, especially with longer life expectancies!. That could explain the increased divorce rate!. It's all conjecture!. It's not that people have less moral conviction than they used to!. Women couldn't leave their husbands if they wanted to 50 years ago!. They wouldn't have a leg to stand on!. Teens are learning of sex and talking about it at younger ages because it's not as taboo as it used to be, and their level of access to those materials is overwhelming!.
The best way to mold and shape society is through education, open discussion, and good parenting!. Just remember that sex is not inherently immoral!. How it is expressed gives it its gravity!. As far as the family structure, we must be less selfish and more giving to our families!. We must make time for them!. It's not a complex equation!.
