I think time its just something that keeps us in order you know, I dont think your can rip time O_O if you do the world would end!. heres my theory 2012 TIME MACHINE appears then all of the sudden of this stuff come out of no where like new people wepeons and stuff so then some "evil dude" brings a mega bomb and BOOM we're dead! plus who or what would be on the other side of this time machine!?Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Relativity allows for time travel but only to the point where space-time was warped enough to allow for it!. That means if you build a machine to time travel by warping space-time you can only travel to the "past" at the time the machine first became operational!. And even then if the many worlds interpretation is correct you will not time travel but instead you will create a parallel universe!. Can you explain that theory of yours again!? I have no idea what your theory is trying to say!. What do you mean who or what would be on the other side of this time machine!? Other side of it!? What are you talking about!? My theory is if a time machine from 2012 came back here and some evil dude blew us up, I believe his timeline would still exist!. It rids of the grandfather paradox, you know, where if you were to go back in time and kill your grandfather before you were born, how could you of went back in time to begin with!? Well because, by you going back in time and changing the past it creates a new alternate timeline!. So to everyone there you're essentially from a parallel earth!. There will be 2 of you in the past and if you return the present it won't be the present you remember but the new present you created and thus there would be 2 of you!. For example, if you go to the past and visit yourself and tell him to move to Japan then go back to the present!. Do you think your body will merge into his and you'll suddenly materialize in Japan and now speak japanese!? I don't think so!. There'll be 2 of you!.!.!. I probably got too deep into this but I'm obsessed with time travel!. Although this movie is a poor example of actual science!. Doc explains it well in Back to the Future Part 2 with the chalkboard drawing on how when Biff changed the past, the time line branches off to an alternate 1985!. If you're familiar with the first of the trilogy, at the end of the movie Marty doesn't return to the present but 10 min prior!. He witnesses himself getting into the time machine just as he did!. If he had stopped him from doing it they would both live in the present together like identical twins!. Primer is an awesome movie(my favorite) and has the most realistic view of time travel over any other time travel movie!. I highly recommend it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
