If you have no privacy, Big Brother is always watching!. That will change you for the worse!. You should be free and independent of Big Brother!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Dearest Privacy Girl,

Well, I think the answer is, not necessarily!.

Privacy is a way to prevent others from knowing our true selves!. Sometimes this is good, some times bad!. Howerver, it never in and of itself makes us better or worse!.

It is the reasons that make us "private" that make us a better person OR not!.

Privacy can be a way of avoiding saying what needs to said!. It can a way of not sharing what needs to be shared!.

Privacy can also be a way of being non judgemental!. There are time so be judgemental but there are times to avoid it!. There are private judgements which you can withhold and those on a larger scale that should be expressed!.

Socrates, or maybe Aristotle, says, Know thy self!. The notion is applicable here because you must be aware of why you are being private!. Is it ot avoid contorversy, e!.g!. you have an unpopular opinion that really should be expressed!. Or, is it truly private, You have opinion A and some one else has opinion B but neither is morally important!. In the first case, you should be expressing your opinion!. In the second, keep your mouth shut!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I wouldn't say a "better person" but perhaps a more grounded or stable individual!. If you never have privacy you never have time for your OWN thoughts!. you are constantly influenced by the people and things around you!.

personally I prefer to have some private time to reflect on things and sort out my priorities!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, that all depends on how the person feels about it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
