No!. Sorry!.

It is good to see someone so interested, but you are too general in your blog!. You wax about philosophy, but you don't philosophize!.

The purpose of philosophy is to analyze a "thing," as Aristotle analyzed "logic" and "cosmology", as Occam analyzed the concept of "concepts!."

Occam's work nearly got him killed by the Church for disagreeing on that subject with Aquinas!. He didn't wax about "concepts"; he picked apart the concept of them!.

Thomas Paine analyzed the concept of Christian Mythology in "The Age of Reason," and had to live in France for fear of losing his life--in a nation in which he was a Patriot Founder! (President Thomas Jefferson invited him back in safety!.)

You must learn to pick one subject and analyze it to death, comparing who said what and why, then determining your own answer and stating explicitly why you chose it!.

It does not have to be a book!. It can be a "short chapter," (just to use a comparison) from beginning to end!.

You seem to have a good head on your shoulders!. But did you notice that I stuck to one topic here--your lack of topics!. I analyzed it, and gave an opinion!. It does not make my opinion right, but it does what philosophy is supposed to do--analyze and conclude!.

I think you have a good head on your shoulders!. You're smart!. You have an interest, and you seem to have the gift of understanding the concepts of philosophy!. But you learn to narrow them down to very specific concepts--whatever floats your boat, like maybe today it will be "oil speculators," and tomorrow it might be "the wrongful reclassification of Pluto from being called a planet!."

You must do more than "wax philosophical!." But I will be interested in seeing your answers, in this forum, to other peoples' questions!. Then I will get a better idea of whether you understand me--or agree with me!.

The better you get, the more I will be interested in your ideas!.

Good luck!. I mean that sincerely, and I hope you take this constructively!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The first one seems too!.!.!.systematic!. You are writing for an audience, but when writing, do it a little freely; let it it not all revolve on the audience!. Your message comes across as educational, yet it leaves a gaping hole for wanting to read more/ entertainment!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
