1!. Soul is the self, the Human consciousness!.
2!. It is not strictly in the nature of Soul to be made, to have corporeal substance, but the origin of it's life is in God!. The Joy of God is Man truly alive!. As humanity reflects on its relation with God, it becomes ensouled, a consciousness responsive to the Divine!. Each person is (NOT HAS) a soul!.
3!. There are aspects of the Soul we can speak of as immortal, but in reality there is no such thing as an immortal soul, the soul dies!. God gives it life as He wills!. Resurrection is not the same thing as immortality!. Neither is the transmigration of soul nor reincarnation!.
4, Ghosts and souls are not the same thing!. A ghost is a phenomenon of residual memory, or energy attached to a site of a traumatic event!. The Hindu tales of the vampire, are stories of a soulless being trapped in a nether world between life and death!. Soul passes on, like water poured from a glass!. It will find a new residence, a new consciousness, possibly incorporating the experience of the previous consciousness!.
5!. Where do new souls come from!? Each soul is the moment of Creation!. It is senseless to think of soul with an understanding of finitude, as if there were only so many An ancient Latin prayer says!. "Emitte Spiritu tuam, et Creabuntur", "Send forth Your Spirit (O Lord), and we shall be Created"!. God creating Adam was not some moment of far distant history, but God breathing Life into each Human He creates!. We are of the Earth, earthy, but we are also Spiritual, made in God's Image and Likeness!. What is of the earth returns to the earth, that which is of God, belongs to God!. God breathed into Adam, and he became a living Nephesh, a Soul!. A Nephesh may die, even long before the body!. The Bible speaks of "a dead Nephesh"!. There is both a first and a second Adam!. If anyone is in Christ, he is a new Creation!. The first man was of the eath, earthy!. The second man is the Lord from heaven!. As we have born the image of the earthy, so too we may bear the image of the heavenly!.

Nothing got trapped when I became me at the moment of conception, neither am I the ring of dead cells that surrounds my bathtub, nor the dust and ashes that will return to the earth it came from!. why do you assume that soul is a real tangible thing!. there is no evidence for it that would stand up to scientific evidence!.
q1!. we are just a blip in the never ending recycling energy off the universe happening to take the form of us for this breef point in time!. so we come from the spontanious flow off the univerce!.
q2!. i would profer not to use the word soul!. its too obscure and the word could be used for many things!. i think i will go with the word energy!. i believe that energy has been here infinatley and does not stick to the laws of time because time is only here because the energy made the time!. this makes the need for a creator irrelevant!.

I don't believe in souls so you may not like my answer!.
Humans are governed by the same physical laws as everything else in the observable universe!. As such we are no more than machines made up of calcium, carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen programmed with DNA!. Consciousness is not some supernatural thing and we don't act like machines because modern day computers don't hold a candle to the complexity of the human mind!. This complexity means that even minute differences in our experiences and chemistry can't have large changes in our actions!. The day may come that we develop machines that rival our own minds ,can carryout meaningful conversations, and develop wants and opinions !.!.!. Will we say they have souls!? or will we say there consciousness is inferior to ours because it makes us feel important!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
