I want to leave this a little open-ended, but: If you could name a PHYSICAL place (not just a state of mind - that part is easy) where you would find people who are truly passionate about something, what would it be!? I'm not talking about sex - I'm talking about CARING about something!. Where would YOU go to find them in the world!?

I went to Barnes and Nobles of all places and got into a very passionate heated discussion about reading, critical thinking and politics in America, some of my favorite topics!. The people I find there have a love and passion for reading!. Bookstores in general are a good place to find some passionate creative people!. I went to the San Antonio Museum of Art and talked to a man about the Etruscan and Egyptian Art for about an hour, passion displayed on both our parts!. I went to the Mcnay art museum and the Witte Museum I found people discussing art, history, nature, man, and science with fervor!. I find when I go to the movies, you always find truly devoted passionate fans, Lord of Rings Fans, Dark Knight fans, to name a few!. Devoted Gamers, gaming stores!. The grocery store, I was at Whole Foods the other day and this women was giddy, picking out wines, cheese, all kinds of food, planning out an evening meal for her family, she was with a friend and admitted she was excited to try out a new recipe, she was seemed to be passionated about cooking!. I have a friend who has that passionate gleam in her eye when she cooks, and when she buys wine!. So she adores Whole Foods, and World Market!. You can walk into the knitting/sewing section of Walmart and find people who have a love and venture into your local pet store!. You will find a big animal fanbase, I think when you push your cat around in a enclosed pink stroller, you have a passion that knows no bounds!. You can find passion in any venue, in the mundane, and obvious, in smallest details and on the grandest scale!. You don't have to go far, it's not about traveling to exotic locales it lies right around the corner!. You have but to look any place, anywhere, and you can find someone passionate about something!. Passion doesn't have to lie in any high brow pursuit either, as long as you have a true and honest passion for something it is a pleasure to behold!.Www@QuestionHome@Com To a certain degree, in the state of Hawai'i, there are people that truly care about the land and the people!. There are those that are genuinely passionate about the history of the land, and the plight that those who went before them have had to endure!. You sometimes even see demonstrations about how Hawai'i should once again be a sovereign nation, and how there were many injustices that took place to make things to where they are now!. Many Hawaiian locals and natives are passionate about a lot of things, they are a people who's emotions are often proudly on display!.Www@QuestionHome@Com how about going to centres that are passionate about the holocaust so as not to let it happen again!. places that strive to remind us what happened 68 years ago!. like the shoah foundation!. or you could try going to organizations that help other conflicts that are going on!. like the one in darfur!. or how about centres that would like to save the pandas and other endangered species!. there's so many going on that you can access a caring place right in your communityWww@QuestionHome@Com Festivals!.!. People there may not be passionate about the same thing, but they are definitely passionate about the thing they have come for, whether that be the music, the community and unison or just the drinking and meeting new people!.!. Seems to me that every time you hook up with a person whom has a similar passion, some person or persons will appear shortly and their passion will be the destruction of your passions!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I have gone through three experiences which happened to my wife over a four year period, each of which involved a hospital stay or an emergency room visit or both!. The nurses, doctors, assistants all were very responsive to the situations, gave their utmost attention and provided the ultimate care in every instance!.
