Question: What does money mean to you!?

I want really deep and critical answers!. In other words I don't want someone to say "money means wealth!." Duh! If you mention wealth define it!.

For me, money doesn't have a significant meaning in my life!. I mean, yes, in order to live a "comfortable life", atleast for myself, I do need money!. I need money for my food, my shelter, my clothing, my everyday necessities for living and life!. However, I would be lying if I said money is the most important thing to me!. It's not even close!. On my list of priorities, before money comes love, people i care about and people who care about me, health, happiness!. Money does not equate to happiness, at least not for me!. It never has and it never will!. I would be perfectly happy living in a box somewhere as long as I was healthy and had someone who loved me by my side!. Is that my dream situation - is that what I want for myself!? No, of course not!. But I would gladly take it!. So to wrap this up - what does money mean to me!? Not much!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Money is a measure of your value to society!. To facilitate trading of duties in society we use money, so that the value of one good produced or service provided can be measured against another!.

If you have alot of money what you do is apparently valued by society!. Of course this system is not perfect and flaws are abundant!. Using the intermediary of money allows that intermediary to be stolen, or other wise comprimised, and the value of the money itself can also change with time, for instance!.

It can also be argued that the system is imperfect in determining what services and goods are valued the most, and I would agree!. This is a result of individuals lacking the ability to see the greater good or to see beyond thier own sphere of influence in space and time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Problems, if you don't have money your screwed and if you do have money you become bored of it!. There are no deep or critical answers for this one, money gets ppl killed, its been responsible for the death of millions upon millions of people!. The world would be better off without money!. That way everyone stays at an equal stance and there is no suffering!. People who are truly ambitious don't do it for the money they do what they do because they want to make a difference!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

money is symbolic of the worth we place on an item or on another's talent!. for instance, consider the obscenity of professional football player's salaries as opposed to the salaries of teachers and nurses!. What do we value more!?
the man or woman teaching you or your child; the person who will save your life!? How about firefighters, police, paramedics!? And the list goes on!. What we really value, we pay for!. Absolutely nothing! It is a means of living, period!. I would much rather exchange or trade by giving and sharing than pay for it with cold, hard, empty cash! If I trade sewing for housekeeping, for example; it has so much more meaning than paying cash!. If someone makes me something with their hands and consideration, for me, I would treasure it always!. Much more so than someone that goes out and buys me something! There is something missing! (Heart)!

Money is Play Dough; it's clay!. You put in your time, you get your clay, you build build build build build!.

Working for need, you have the means to happiness and existence!. Working for gains you have an unquenchable hunger that brooks undue sacrifice!.

Balance is key!. Values are essential!. Time is precious!. If you waste too much time pursuing clay, or don't see money as merely such, you have lost the race!.

It's just a means with which to acquire goods and services!. It works because we have defined it as having exchange value and we agree in the aggregate with that concept!. to me no matter how shallow it is money is a big part of my life!. when i have money in my pocket i feel reasurred generally and i know that i can get most things i want!. knowing i have plenty of money reasurres your future and preety much gives you a wider range of possibilities and opportunities!.
