!.!.!.human beings are "very aware" of their mortality, and know that "Art" is one of the only ways to truly express that "anxiety" in a meaningful way, and at the same time "give and create" meaning for ourselves that seems to "alleviate & calm" our sentient savage knowledge of our own eventual demise!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

No it has nothing to do with mortality or demise!. For most artists, the thought that their art will live on past their extinction does not cross their mind!. Art for the artist is very much a right brain process and almost an addiction!. Like the left brain mathmetician, numbers become an obsession!. Likewise for the artist!.!.!.!.we see things we want to "translate" somehow!. We look at things differently!. A left brain person may pinch their skin and think how it hurts!. A right brain person will look at how the fingers pinching cause the skin to turn yellow green and want to show people what they see (or see it for themselves by their own hand!.) Artists love to create as mathmeticians love to calculate and detectives love to question and on and on and on!. Striving to make our brain do what it is designed to do simply makes us happy!.!.!.regardless of whether it is ever seen by anyone!. But if so!.!.!.!.all the better!.!.!.for everyone!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You know beauty is on the eye of the beholder, if you like it then its art to you!.

But IMO Art is not like what you always want to see, or not limited to what you see!. almost all Great artist have bad experiences and those experience made them famous-Why because of the depth or the meaning they want to portrayWww@QuestionHome@Com

I think that awareness of our mortality and the search for meaning in life both play a large role in the creation of art!. It is meant both as a testament to our existence and an act of searching, at once a monument and a quest!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Maybe they simply just like what they see!. Why over- analyze this!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
