Question: What is human!?
In this age of modern technology we come to the point where we must ask "What is Human!?" Can computers think, feel, love, laugh and so on!? In times of need we must turn to that which has never fail us in the past to give us examples!. So we shall look to Star Trek!.
1) Spock- He is half human half Vulcan!. At a early age he decided to to abandom his human side and to surpress all emotions to give up laughing, crying and loving!. He may feel this thing but he surpreses them!.
2)Data- A andriod who has made it his goal to become human!. In the course he activated programs that allowed him to dream, have sex and feel emotion!. That is not enough he still tries to move beyond that!.
4) 7 of 9- A former Borg who was set free from the Borg!. In her time with the Borg she was denied the ablity to feel of think freely!. When she was finely set free she was almost incapable of acting human!. She then denied her self the simple human pleasures!.
5) The Doctor- A hologram who has tried so had to make him more human!. The Doctor lacks the ability to eat, sleep or drink!. He can not even leave the area that does not support his program!.

its not the significance of been human that to be title as a human but its the self-aware of their very existence and the resolution of emotional sensation that's place as been humanity!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Does it ever occur to you that they are all actors pretending to be characters in a TV show -- i!.e!. human pretending to be non-human!?

I could only be very general and say that we are mostly biological thinking machines, all engaging in a process called life!. Sooner or later we would all die!.
To me, it is not a sad thing to die and be gone forever, because it is the scarcity of time that gives our lives value!. makes us special even precious!. Eternal life would devlaue the human race in so many ways, like robots and slaves!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
