Jealousy is a form a fear!.it is one of the seven deadly sins!.It is not being thankful for who we are and appreciating our own unique selves and gifts but looking at what someone else has and wanting their attributes!. it is not a loving attitude to have toward ourselves or others!. Sometimes we all face it and we need to take it to God and he would help us see things in a more positive light!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sin is a biblical concept!. And according to the bible, there are seven deadly sins i!.e!. envy, greed, pride, lust, gluttony, sloth and wrath!. Jealousy in love context is only a narrow definition of the word which does not exactly mean envy but in a more general context can be assumed to be equivalent to envy!. However, different cultures and religions have different perceptions on jealousy as a sin!. Buddhism has no concept of sin, only meritorious and non-meritorious deeds which will affect your Karma!. But if you believe that all humans are descendants of Adam and Eve, then jealousy is definitely a sin!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
