no one is immune to flattery, if it is done properly, but not being immune dose not mean that you have to give in when ever some one tries to flatter you!. all humans and even animals are genetically programed to try to get noticed, and standout from the rest of the group, when they succeed in doing so they like it, this is what flattery does it gives one an illusion of succeeding at standing out!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
