I think life would be possible definitely but maybe not as we know it!. I feel like this would change so much about humans, individual personality, and maybe even the individual's way of coloring certain memories, abstracting the facts (for better or for worse)!. Would we be people or!.!.!.a race of impartial observers/recorders!?

Would it make forgiving more difficult!? Healing from traumatic events impossible!?

I always wished my memory was better but now I'm thinking that forgetting stuff is kinda great and necessary, even if it can get us into trouble or cause frustration!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Possible, sure, but it would mean some pretty big changes!.

For example, the movie industry wouldn't get as much repeat business, since after a person had seen a movie once, there'd be no reason to see it again!. I suppose that problem might impact marriages as well!.

It would require us to change the oath witnesses take in courtrooms for sure!. If the witness really remembers everything they ever saw, we don't want "the whole truth", we'd just want the part that really matters!. The whole truth would take forever to relate!.

The common expression "I told you so" would not be used so much!. If you really did tell me, I'd remember it, there'd be no need to remind me of it!.

My biggest fear of not being able to forget is running out of memory!. My computer runs out of memory and gets slow, I'm not sure why the mind wouldn't do the same!. "Do you want sugar in your coffee!?" (long silence) "Well!? do you!?" "I'm thinking about it!. Give me a minute"Www@QuestionHome@Com

As imposable as any life is it seems to find a way!.
It may be interesting like watching a really old movie, but it was made for a different audience!. We tend to remake the story of our memories to keep up with the own evolution of our character!. So maybe it would make no difference, we would still focus only on what we want to see!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Why not!? With something like memory, which is most likely limitless, and can't be called "20Gigs, etc!.!.!.", there's no reason why a person couldn't remember everything, other than the fact that your mind decides that it's inefficient/useless to remember!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
