Think about, in dreams, there is no pain, no hunger, and anything can happen!. We leave the conscious world and enter an unconscious one!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The dream world is not unlike the waking world, as taught in Zen!. In dreams and when awake we are subject to what is held in mind!. It is supposed that when we die we also go to a place that is in accord to our realm of possibility but with out physical limits such as the human body!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That's a good idea but its not exactly what happens!. First one's spirit goes to the spirit world!. At the day of judgement the physical body is reconstituted in a perfect form and reunited with the spirit, after which there is, of course, the judgment!. This leads then, depending on how we are judged, to our then going to one of the briefly summarized 3 levels of heaven!. They are the Celestial, Terrestrial, and Telestial Kingdoms!. The Plan of Salvation holds that Heaven is divided into three separate kingdoms of glory!. These are called heavenly kingdoms the "Three Degrees of Glory:" the Celestial, the Terrestrial, and the Telestial!. These kingdoms are where all men and women, with the exception of Sons of Perdition, who will go to Outer Darkness, will go after they are judged of God and resurrected (their spirits reunited with their then immortal bodies)!. Entrance into each kingdom depends on a person's worthiness and his adherence to the commandments of God and the ordinances He has prescribed!. Since God is the ultimate judge, all people will be judged fairly and awarded the kingdom where they will be most happy and comfortable!. Thats what happens after you die!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't see why not, to some extent, although it can't be actually 'dreaming' as there's no brain left in which to dream!.

I tend to view dreams as a "waking moment" interpretation of what your brain has experienced throughout the night!. So although you view them as happening over a period of time you actually only interpret them as actions and so on as the conscious brain starts to take over!.

It might just be that death is the 'wish fulfilment' life - whatever you believe will happen (death, heaven, hell), will happen, as that final thought of your brain lies suspended in an incomplete moment of realisation!. Kind of like how the light escaping from a black hole 'freezes' on the event horizon, so things appear suspended for eternity, so that last thought could just hang there!. Which is a bit like dreaming, except you'd never go through the interpretation phase of waking up, so not sure what the 'dream' would be like!.

We'll all find out sometime!. Just not be able to tell anyone of course!Www@QuestionHome@Com

i don't think so, remember your awareness and your memories and all that stuff, even your mind dreaming, are all activities, physical events in your brain!. without those there is no dreaming!.

also, most of all the dreams you have during the night you are not aware of at all!. even while you sleep the aware function of your brain turns off!. only the ones you have near the point of waking or falling asleep do you remember, or are aware of!. this is called lucid dreaming!.

if for the sake of argument we say that you can be in a dream world after death, if you can't be aware of the dreamworld what would be the point anyways!. you might as well not be!. just like from your perspective (dreaming does serve a function that affects your waking life though) the dreams you have that you don't remember or don't ever realise you ever had, might as well have never occurred!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think when we dream we are experiencing heaven, in different ways!. So I belief your theory or belief is true, although, then again, I do belief in reincarnation!. I think that our soul is transferred on giving new life to someone, but our physical body and mind is in this "dream world" like you said!. Interesting question, Star for you!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Newton's third law states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction!. If you think of the body as a holding vessel for the soul then when we die our soul has to go somewhere!. From there you have to make your own assessments and beliefs because no one has ever died and returned to tell about it!. (except Jesus, if you believe in the bible) Based on the bible there is a dream-like world that awaits us after we die!. It is a spiritual realm, free of our physical body, in which you will either go to heaven or hell!. It teaches that to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord!. also our minds never shut down like our bodies do when we go to sleep!. As a result the brain is very active during the night, most of which we are unaware of!. If you think about it we sleep though half of our entire life!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I believe the soul or spirit is always in a dream state!. The body is simply a vessel for the soul to do it's bidding in!. So you see you say when we die!.!.!.you are referring to the body!.!.!.and the body is basically recycled materials!. The soul is we!.!.!.the soul IS you!.!.!.so my answer to your question!.!.!.is yes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
