Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The only thing that comes to mind here, is that when you're constantly aware that you could lose someone you love any minute, or you realize they will one day leave to die, it makes you never take them for granted, and you can love them the way love was intended!. It's hard to be in this state of mind, but that is how you keep love alive, that's the secret!. The kind of death we experience!? I think that if your full of love, and feel completed, you can fall into death peacefully, I think you even feel like!.!.well, I did what I came here for, to love, now It's OK if I die, I mean if your older, and lived a life, and your children are over 18, it's a deep and I avoid talking about it like the plague but it's true (hugs) xo Kissy, your questions always fall in line with things I am debating in my mind!.!.it's strange, your inspiring to meWww@QuestionHome@Com Agree and very much so!. We can embrace love, in all it's many forms, and live a life reciprocally, or turn our backs on it and trudge on alone!. We can accept that death is waiting out there somewhere, and get busy doing all the wonderful things that life offers in the interim, or walk in fear of it thereby crippling our time here on Earth!. It's these choices we have to make, almost on a daily basis, in order to grow (or not) as human beings so that when we get to the end of our lives, we can look back and nod our heads and say, "this was a life well lived"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I know perfectly well that death can be a random occurrence, yet I view it fatalistically, as something that is predetermined by my fate!. But the manner of dying is something else entirely!. If you lose your job, spouse, children and house because of drinking, and wind up puking out your guts in a gutter until you croak - this is not a life well lived or serving any real purpose, other than that of self destruction!. also, at death, I believe, like the Ancient Egyptians, that your "soul" is weighed against your deeds!. Another way to look at this is to say that at death we see ourselves as we really were - all our defenses and rationalizations are gone, we can only see the truth!. You can imagine what kind of shock this might produce!. To avoid this reckoning, it is a good idea to make love a major force in your life, and by that I mean in all its aspects!. If our guiding star in life is love, we make ourselves vulnerable, but at least we are on the moral high ground and we will find our way back to healing through the love of others!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Disagree!. Few of us have enough control over day to day events to even hope to have much control over how we conduct our lives!. All we can hope for is to have a personal philosophy and high standard by which to respond to new events!. In my view, damn few individuals even bother to have such a conscious standard!.Www@QuestionHome@Com God made we human beings in such a way that we usually forget the realty of death and very much remember the reality of love apparently and follow the wishes of our mind and heart!.
