The meaning of life!?

Why do the people who ask such a question think that another mortal human would actually know!? I'm astounded and quite shocked that they would actually expect an honest answer to such an inquiry!

I tend to think that people who ask this question are under the impression that each human (whith no mention or regard to other creatures, strangely) on earth is here for a reason, and generally, believe in creatonism, in which case, to be sarcastic, I would tell them that they are God's sixth grade science project!. And if i were to give my honest opinion on the matter, I would say that I honeestly don't know, and I am not so sure that there even is a meaning to life, but if there is, I am not compelled to spend the rest of my life trying to find out, because I don't think I or anyone else for that matter, ever will!. I just plan on living while I can, and taking advantage of what comes my way!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

they dont expect an honest answer, lots of questions here are just intended to get a rise out of ppl!. really, im not sure yours is not one of them and if not, no harm intended here!. im just sick of those types of questions myself!. If took me awhile to learn what not to ask to avoid negative responses, but i do still tend to answer antagonistic questions!. guess i've still got a lot to learn, but this is a strange place indeed!.

I think people ask because they honestly want to know what other people have come up with!. Most likely, they're looking to find validation of their own phillosophies!.
