edit - I should say willful ignorance!. Apathy depends on the subject at hand!. For example I am apathetic towards the state of the leaf falling into a nearby pond!. Apathy towards more grand things could very well be worse!.As I see from experience though, apathy can be more readily fixed than ignorance!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Apathy is the lack of caring, ignorance is lack of training!. I'd rather live in a society that is apathetic, by choice, then ignorant where no body knows any better!.

To alter your question a tad, Wouldn't you rather have an apathetic Dr if you were hurt over an ignorant one!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
