Life is what you make of it, buddy!. Sure there's disappointment, but if you put yourself out there enough you'll meet success as well!.

You can always learn from your mistakes, and continue to redefine yourself!. It's about your outlook!. Everyone feels down once in a while, but you've got to be able to cheer yourself up!.

Life is what you make of it, If you imagine life to be bad then sub-consciously you may be seeing the worst in everything or even deliberately setting yourself up for a fall so that life becomes what you perceive it to be!.!.!.!.!.!. Try one day or hour or so to be positive about everything and to think about the positive aspects of the events that occur to you during that time!. because disappointments give you hope! and creativity if something fails what do you do curl up in a ball and cry about it! or find a new more different way to fill up for yourself!

if you focus on the disappointments that you can't control then there is no point

Disappointment is a result of trying to achieve something difficult!. If we dont push ourselves and go beyond our safe boundaries, and dont challenge ourselves then we would never be disappointed, but at the same time, not pushing ourselves and not trying to achieve better and greater things kind of defeats the purpose of life and robs us of greater joys and enjoyment in life!. another word we have to accept that life is difficult only because we make it so, and we do so because we are trying to achieve things in our lives!. Nobody ever said life is easy!. You just asked a classic question!. Leo Tolstoy actually discusses this very question in his "Confessions!." He asks the question: "why do men live when it is possible not to live!?" In other words, why is the human race still around after so many years, when they could have chosen to commit suicide!?

Shopenhauer tries to answer this question also!. Read his book "The World As Will and Representation!." He says that the human WILL is what propels us onward!.

In general we live because we are propelled by desire!. Or we live for others: our children, parents, spouses etc!. Some of us live unconciously; we don't bother asking the question you are asking!. Some of us are afraid of death, so we go on living and resist suicide!.

Disappointment, is a state of mind, which one puts themselves in through decisions, they themselves have made!. If we learn from them, and grow, then life becomes fun and enjoyable!.

That's just it!. Dissappointment, sadness and suffering is the way of fighting in order to gain joy, the true feeling that you exist and you are alive!.
