A friendship can survive only if both FEEL equals, despite the disparities which will always be there between two people!. There has to be a level of comfort!. Even when one is criticising the other over something, it should be taken in good spirit and not think that he is being humiliated or something!. It's essential for two people to feel as equals!. It's important!. Nothing's worse than having a "type-A" person with a friend that's a total flunkie!. I have seen so-called best friends completely insult each other in public, and there's always the person who feels bad and just takes the crap off the other person!. So, that's NOT healthy!. Nothing at all! It's not IMPORTANT to be so-called 'equal' indeed!. To be friend, we need to be patients---that's all!.
