God & Science, Both Man Made?

Question: God & Science, Both Man Made!?

How can we base any argument against God on Science when that is equally man made!?

Of course both are man-made, but that doesn't change reality!. You, in fact, are man-made: your parents created you!. Does that mean that you don't have any value!?

What's wrong with man-made!? When we think of man-made stuff, we think of things like ohhh money causes people to be greedy and ohhh manufactured products are polluting!!!!1!. You know what else is man-made!? Humor!. Kindness!. Love!. Decency!. No animal in this world portrays these traits unless they are for some biologically useful reason!.

So I ask you; why do you have such a stigma against things that are man-made!? Science has invented cures for diseases, cleanliness, the food that you eat!. What makes it invalid!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Science does not ask you to suspend rational skepticism for the sake of a preconceived notion!.
Aside from this the conclusions put forth are supported by empirical evidence!.
God in most religions demands that you cast aside rational skepticism for the sake of maintaining a preconceived notion!.
It offers highly questionable examples of evidence to support its conclusions and when criticism is brought up the rebuttal is an appeal to "faith"!.
In this example of a false dichotomy for the sake of argument I will suggest that science is the lesser of two evils!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Man has an intrinsic need for a pastoral belief system to make sense of his complex world, mind and being!. Science has simply become a replacement post abandoning the comfy blanket of religion!.

Science inserts objects into orifices as much as religion does, both requiring intellectual anaesthesia to have any degree of faith!. Hatred is a terrible thing!.

Was not so long ago we referred to all those wonderful Daddy figures as quite mad scientists!. A whimsical society, in the absence of any morality or civilisation post destroying the same in the cause of free will, seeks a new scapegoat or kicking boy!.

Kim O!.!.!.I'm a scientist and I have realised that the more we learn the more we find that we don't know!. Contrary to what you wrote, science actually shows us that God does exist, that things didn't just happen by 'accident'!. Eyes are not 'accidentally' sensitive to light waves, ears aren't 'accidentally' sensitive to sound waves!. That everything has come about by accident is as likely as holding a few billion assorted atoms and molecules in your hand, throwing them in the air and that they land having made, say, a wristwatch!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Everything that people cant explain is claimed to be done by "god" god could exist, he might not!. But its important to stick to morals and humanity!. Whether things like cloning are considered "gods work" its still wrong because they are creating something for it to die!. What are you talking about!?!? Science is not man made!. The apple would have fallen due to gravity, whether we existed or not!. God is not man made either!. Had God not created us, God would still be there!.

Finally if you read some Hawking, it'd become extremely obvious that the universe didn't come together by complete chance!. If for instance the nuclear strong force were stronger by only 2%, there'd be no matter!. Decreasing it by 5% there could be no stars!. No stars=no sun=no life!. Look at the complexity of DNA(one single strand is 6 billion perfectly coded bases), then the perfect copying of it billions of times in your body!. And there are so many other things, it is truly a leap of faith to believe it all happened for no reason at all!. If you're going to prove me wrong, you had better prove the science wrong!.

In the end, had we not existed, these things would have still existed!. They are not man made, but as someone before said, man conceived!.

And I think the opposite of religion with you!. While I oppose fanaticism, I think that atheism is foolish!. Which religion you choose is up to you, but I believe at least being agnostic would be more correct!. But I have to respect atheists beliefs!. Hatred of religion isn't a good thing!. Hatred of irreligion is bad aswell!. If you're going to hate, then you're just going to cause more hatred!. This is the way life works!. God and science are inseparable!. Science tells us that the thing proved was already in existence but we were not knowing it before!.
