A person who does a right act because of accordance with duty is doing so because he does not want to get caught!. IN the categorial imperative, he gives an example of this by using the shopkeeper!. Did you not do your reading!?

An act done from duty and an act done in accordance with duty are not the same thing!. It's not enough for an action to merely "coincide" with duty !.!.!. the act must be exacted in the name of duty in order to be considered moral!.

"Supererogatory" just means going beyond your moral duty and doing something worthy of special praise morally!. It doesn't really make sense to talk about supererogatory acts in a Kantian framework because moral goodness is exactly equivalent to fufilling one's moral duty !.!.!. there's no such thing as being "more moral" than you are required to be by your duty!.

So:

1) (c)
2) (a)
3) (a)

4) !.!.!.!. not too sure !.!.!.!. I don't really like any of them!. d)!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
