The journey can not be enjoyed if one is depressed Or against it from the start !. An most of life is a journey !.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Being emotional to start an important journey is to blow it up right then&there!. You need to be lucide and ready for all kind of obstecles!. You need a plan and a path, strenght and will!.
Actually it shouldn't be any part of a serious journey, this should be joyful and ready for the road and have in mind and heart the purpose of the journey!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

NOPE DEFINATELY NOT!.!.!.!!! Emotions are the delight of life but only as they fit into the reality of the scheme of things!. The mind is somewhat cold hearted compared to the emotions, but it is more rationable and sees things without as much "feeling"!.!.!.and in so doing provides a voice of reason!. Peope who are ruled by emotions are as unstable as the wind, cannot be trusted, waffle on any and everythng because of a feeling and will eventually blow away with that wind!. Those ruled by the mind (without emotion) tend to the opposite!.!.!.unfeeling and coldhearted!. Both alone do no one any good!. United and recognizing the worth and benefit of both is where humaity shines!.!.!. a balance of both is to be desired!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

absolutely! why do you think some people are just amazed and dazzled by some of the simplist things that you would never had recognized!. you could be in the playboy mansion mad as crap and not care that you were there!. because emotions are making you have a bad time!. so yesemotions are a very important part of a journey!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

People who allow themselves to be ruled by their emotions will be all over the place - blown hither and thither according to how they feel!.

Yet the one emotion that remains vital in the journey of life is love!. But not just a warm, fuzzy feeling - a clear-headed, determined desire to 'walk in love', doing what is right and best for others, and loving the Lord in purity and faith!. Our emotions are real and God-given, but they can deceive us, except Godly love, "that transcends all satisfaction and all experience to rest in the night of pure and naked faith!.!.!. Yet that experience or feeling of peace always remains an accident of contemplation, so that the absence of this 'sense' does not mean that our contact with God has ceased!. To become attached to the 'experience' of peace is to threaten the true and essential and vital union of our soul with God above sense and experience in the darkness of a pure and perfect love!.!.!. If we attach too much importance to these accidentals we will run the risk of losing what is essential, which is the perfect acceptance of God's will, whatever our feelings may happen to be!."Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!. I love travel, but if I focus on the idea that it makes me feel good, I lose the benefits, including those good feelings!.

I prefer to focus on, and regard as most important, the cognitive aspect of a journey!. What I can learn!. The emotional aspect will then take care of itself!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No doubt emotional aspect is important but at the same time you have to respect the emotions of others also!. You have to mix with others!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
