There is nothing to prove that theory wrong!. also similar to the idea of the soul!. Something that has always been and was thrust into the body!. Then after the death of the body it continues!. Your main question and then second part are asking different questions though!. Are you asking if we have lived multiple lives!? Or if our minds are immortal!.!.!. Many from the olden days thought that the mind and the soul were one and the same!.!.!. Your first question might touch of the idea of reincarnation!.!.!.although frequently with that one might remember previous lives!. It could be that maybe after death we are 'placed' into another body and there is no heaven, hell etc or anything after worlds!. Our lives simply continue!.
