Legally, that could be viewed as harassment!. The person is trying to be there in your life and to the world and all who see this you are communicating that you have no desire to have this person in your life!. If you decided to complain or the person you work for thinks you are upset then it is within the realm of what is possible that the person wanting to know you better can be punished for that desire!.

Ethically, is this a welcome or unwelcome surprise!. It seems to be no surprise at all in that you see it coming time after time and choose not to acknowledge it, heance the aloofness!. As for the welcomeness of the action it is not welcome by your actions but perhaps it is welcome in your heart, but noone will know that unless you voice your opinion on the matter in the affirmative!.

And morally speaking, it should be a welcome surprise if in the end it makes you happy and not if it makes you sad or angry or any of a wide spectrum of negative emotions!. You have to let your feelings be known if not to others at least to yourself!.

Personally, I like to be liked, but; I try not to be aloof to the feelings others!. I am lucky to have anyone feel for me at all and I view interest in me as a gift!. I like gifts!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
