No, the graph you have relates to a situation where there is a limited supply of substrate!. During the 160 million year period when the dinosaurs were around, the substrate was the foot of the food chain, same as it is today - the plant kingdom!. This is a foodsource continuously replenished by energy from sunlight and minerals from the planet!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There was a chain reaction once the environment went through extreme change!. So many things influenced the extinctions!.
