Question: Is existence dependant on time and is time dependant on existence!?

Time is an existence, that is my statement to that question!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

This is a fascinating question--one worthy of a dissertation!.
In order to be precise, let me ask you: by depenedant, do you mean ,"required in order to be" or "the magnitude to which it is, is determined by"!?

We must do as Socrates would and first define our terms!. Many things 'exist', but not in the same sense!. Inanimate objects 'exist'; that is, they occupy space and have mass!. Humans 'exist' in this sense as well, but also in a special sense, for we are AWARE that we exist!. All matter is subject to time: rocks age just as rattlesnakes do!. Not all matter is able to perceive time!. Rocks age yet are unaware that they do so!.

There was a time when we as humans were not; that is to say, we did not always exist!. There was a certain event that is called our conception--before that, we simply were not!. The Big Band posits that this is the same for all matter, and even for the universe!. There was a time when all things created were not!. Therefore, a very important metrix for all things that 'exist', is "when" they come to exist!. Only of something or Someone who lives outside of time and space can it be said that they are not affected by this criterion!. One would have to be eternal to not be affected!. So, with the exception of an eternal being, existance, in a very real sense, is dependant on time!.

However, time is not nessecarily dependant upon existance!. Before the alarm clock was created, before it 'existed', time still marched forward!. Time is immutable!. Einstein demonstrated that we can have two objects out of sync with each other in the continuim, but Time is always moving!. Unless we're talking about TIME ITSELF coming into existence, then nothing is nessecaily dependant on time to 'exist'!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Existence was here before time; so, to answer your question:
existence is not a dependent of time; however, time is a dependent of existence!.
If you believe in God, then you could relate your argument on the premise that God exists in the infinite; whereas, we exist in the finite!. He doesn't age, but we do!. Time was created for
the sake of earth and all its inhabitants!.!.especially mankind!.
If you hold a disbelief in God, then you could relate your argument on the premise that if a person's watch cease to work it doesn't cause them to die!. Nor if they should die and their watch was still functioning, this doesn't make them still be alive!. Time exists because of existence; existence does not exist because of time!.
Therefore, the deceased person still exists even though their time has expired!. Their time stopped but their existence did not!.!.otherwise, a person would simply vanish into thin air immediately after they die!.

If it has existed or exists then existence is dependent on time!. Time is dependent on existence if that time exists or has existed!. Kind of confusing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Time passes whether you exist or not!. You exist within a time frame!. Compared to time, our existence is but a fleeting glimpse!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You cannot exist without time, but time can exist without you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

time is the curtain before the truth!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
