Question: Could the world manage a brand new religion!?

There are likely hundreds of different faiths and religious beliefs on this old planet!. Some are very old, some fairly recent!. Do you think a new one might be just over the horizon!? Would you like to see a new faith that has as its dictates and precepts all those that come up in most of the other salient creeds!? Is this possible in our 'scientifically enlightened' times!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Religions are born and die all the time, so there are always new ones just over the horizon!. As for syncretic religions that incorporate the principles of many others, they are pretty common, too!. The best known one is baha'i!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I doubt there will be another religion as prevalent as, say, modern Christianity!. We are witnessing a dramatic decline in religious adherence which can only be supposed to continue!.

While new religions can, and possible will, always be created, it is no longer necessary to explain what could not be explained!. It's philosophical implications would most likely be covered!. It would not be able to enforce the kind of control the Catholic Church (for example) used to!.

Simply put, conditions are not right for a new major religion, especially one similar to those available!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Why have a new religion if I would need it to confess the same principles the traditional religions do!? Besides, if religion is an immutable Divine principle of existence, how can you want "new" religion, as if religion were a kind of business item that appears on the market!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think it would be hard for a new religion to take much hold because many people already have deep roots in older ones!. But there are many people who are waiting for their own type of views to take hold in a religious form, so maybe!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the only religion that came from god is jewesh, christian and islam so all the other religions that came out are from the ppl and i realy dont believe in it and i dont consider it as a religionWww@QuestionHome@Com
