Question: Who has absolutely no tolerance for fantasy!?
In other words, who is a realist!?
Who gets annoyed when people talk about things that are not real, like "luck",
Praying (Magical thinking),
Knocking on wood,
Sensing events before they happen, and if the event just so happens to occur, they say, "See, I knew it!" - but only after the fact!.
Who gets annoyed when people think they know what you're thinking!? Nobody is psychic!
Who avoids sci-fi (anything) books, movies about ghost or goblins, Lords of rings and things!?
Who laughs when people begin to talk “seriously” about the Zodiac and its signs, and what sign they think you are!?
Who thinks fantasy is a distraction from what is real!?

I'd say I'm not so much annoyed by "fantasy" as superstition and supernatural/paranormal beliefs!. I don't like sci-fi or magical junk either, but that's really more due to taste (most of it is absolutely horribly written/filmed)!.
Fantasy has a place in reality - if you take the human mind to constitute a part of reality!. There are effects in the real world that arise from human fantasy!.
But please, don't be a "realist" - everyone is a "realist" whether they like it or not!. Unfortunately, people who use the term to describe themselves are usually unimaginative and have no sense of humor!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
A bit unfair on sci-fi because there are 2 main genres, science fiction based on what could be "fact" and science fantasy which tends to be beyond the realms of any possible reality (i!.e!. bllx)!. Fantasy is outside the realm of the ultimate realist, the pessimist!. Pessimism is one of the more comforting beliefs as if something goes wrong it's not unexpected whereas if something goes right you are pleasantly surprised!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Not all fantacys are bad, I myself love fantacy books, but don't beleive in luck!. Luck is merly just a coincidence to some people, or it could be something someone else truely believes in!. So, If one truely beilieves in it you shouldn't just tell them there wrong!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Just because something has no scientific evidence doesn't mean it doesn't exist or isn't real!.!.!. things like luck!. Who are you to say its all a fantasy and its not real!?
