!.!.!.I think it is better phrased in "something they could die "from"!.!.!.
life is better valued when it's possible to loose it and since no one is exempt from this, then it should stand to reason that life is sacredWww@QuestionHome@Com

I think many people take life for granted!. People think that living a life fully, is about what kind of house they live in and what kind of car they drive!. That is far from fully living life!. People take for grated their own self, family, friends, love, health and I could go on and on!. For most be people they that unfortunately need to stare death in the face personally!. It takes a very close loved one to pass away, or an accident where they personally almost die before they begin to understand fully living life!.

If your happy with yourself, and the people that you love, they know exactly how much you love them, if you take the time to be polite and thankful for things, food, friends in your life and take the time and effort to help others without expecting anything in return then you have an idea about the meaning of "fully living life"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes!. You can't understand life without the awareness of the possibility of death!. You don't find something that you'd be willing to die for until you find something to love enough that you value it as much as you do your own life (were that not the case, why would you be willing to die for it!?)!. This puts your life into a perspective that you don't have until you've found that thing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There is a saying "If you've not discovered something to die for you are not fit to live"!.

Death staring someone in the face can certainly be a wake up call and influence people to not hold back so much and just let loose!. Until we come close to death, we probably would become complacent and resist anything that might be dangers or uncomfortable!. Life really is worth living without death!.

But by the same token, we may decide to truly live our lives to the fullest when we find that moment in life that inspires us to greatness!. A new job, family, girlfriend, getting into that dream college, meeting that great friend; it could be so many things!.

Yet, none would probably be such a lasting impression and driving force as coming close to death!. You don't really know what you have until it's gone, so the possibility of loosing something or someone could spur someone on to not hold back and just follow what they knew they want to be doing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A good point and one which is on track for we experience life in mind!. For the most part we learn from the struggles of living!.

However it has been shown that without fear of death even Deity will default!. Lucifer thought he could rebel against His Father without the threat of death (annihilation)!.

"Lucifer is now the fallen and deposed!. Self-contemplation is most disastrous, even to the exalted personalities of the celestial world!. It is very difficult to point out the exact cause or causes which finally culminated in the Lucifer rebellion!. We are certain of only one thing, and that is: Whatever these first beginnings were, they had their origin in Lucifer's mind!. There must have been a pride of self that nourished itself to the point of self-deception, so that Lucifer for a time really persuaded himself that his contemplation of rebellion was actually for the good of the system, if not of the universe!. By the time his plans had developed to the point of disillusionment, no doubt he had gone too far for his original and mischief-making pride to permit him to stop!. At some point in this experience he became insincere, and evil evolved into deliberate and willful sin!. http://www!.urantia!.org/papers/paper53!.ht!.!.!.

It is my humble opinion that had Lucifer been able to know death as we can know it, as something final, He may not have been so prideful!. I see this as one reason we have been created to experience death as a possibility in living!.

I do know that wants we survive we will not have to suffer Death ever again!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
