Question: Does rotten reality ever really matter if you look through rose tinted glasses!?
I struggle!.!.!.
1!. with thoughts that some girls are catty and get jealous, trying to ruin me through untrue gossip or slander!.

2!. with the reality that not everyone likes me even though I try my best and no matter what I do!.

I wonder if a similar thing that happened in Philadelphia to Mr!. Beckett is happening to me!. My managers loading me up with more work than I can handle plus a new orientee to train and then getting upset when I voice my opinion!. I hear them saying to one another, "You need to write her up" and one of them saying "These are minor problems and you should know how to handle them" even though I've only been on the job on my own out of training since April!. Other more compassionate coworkers state that they should never have given me an orientee fresh out of school to train and that there are other workplaces of a similar kind (I'm talking about a hospital unit) that isn't like this!. There is little structure to how things are run and I feel screwed over!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
1) There will always be gossips!. There is freedom and happiness in realizing that you do not need these people to think well of you to be happy!. If it's your 'friends' then you probably need new friends!. Don't gossip in retaliation for obvious reasons!.

2) You can't make everyone like you!. Ever!. What matters is choosing some people that matter to you, and making sure your relationship with them is good!. also remember it's more important to be respected by your peers than it is to be liked by them!.

And your job!? Decide what you can and can't deal with, and don't stand for anything outside these parameters!. Tell whoever needs telling you won't be doing anything outside these limits!. If this means needing to leave then so be it, your mental health is more important!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

this is life!.!.!. i have realized myself that in "social world" the drama never ends!.!.!.i am young!.!.!. but my mom owns a buisness and constantly she comes home with stories of the wreched behavior of her employees (espically with the several women working in the office)!.!.!.also i remember the girls back in middle school/ high school!.!.!.!.its simply jealosy--they might be jealous that you got right in or mabey you have something that they don't and they know it!.!.!.!.jealosy puts people in a situation of fear --fear that they simply are just not good enough anymore, even if people do not like you THAT IS NO REASON TO STOP TRYING but that does not mean that you should should(a)- expect results or(b)-change who you are-like changing your likes and dislikes from person to person **if someone is strongly verbilizing their opinon on politics then just nod bc thats one place where things can get messy--(MABEY JUST DON'T TRY *AS* HARD) thats all!.!.!.[=Www@QuestionHome@Com
