Hi,
well, i'm no genius, and maybe i don't even get it, but here goes!.!.!.
my mother's side of the family can do this!.!.!.
my grandma was swimming in the ocean and was stung by a man o war, awful to be sure!. however, for the remaining 70 years of her life she never even touched the ocean, and she lived in hawaii!.
my mother once ate too much salt as a child and got a bad nosebleed!. so she is always talking about not wanting to eat too much salt, even though it has never happened again!. she does eat salty foods and soy sauce, etc!.!.!. it's just the table granulated salt that she so unreasonably looks out for!.
after my grandma gave birth to my aunt my grandpa said you carried her for 9 months, now it's my turn!. and i guess he hung onto my auntie for a long time!. he returned the baby to her mother's arms, and my aunt pushed at her mother's face!. grandma never forgave the 'rejection' or loved my aunt again!.
now, maybe they are just stubbornly ignorant, but i think it may also display how they took one small thing and made a life out of it!.

Well, if I read it correctly, I'd say because it's "judging the many by the one"!.
