Sure! It is beautiful in itself! Humans only appreciate its beauty!.

In nature, there are many beautiful things lying hidden, unappreciated but that doesn't lessen their beauty!. Man has only put a tag on things for his own pleasure!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Relative to all natures gifts a rose is relatively quite beautiful fragrant!. Its allure is further enhanced by its transitory nature!.

Blooms in season to wither in autumn, and when the winter chill comes!.!.!.

Define beauty!.

Logically, humans created the word 'beauty'!. In fact humans created language, so that description would not exist without us!. Our consideration for fickle things like 'beauty' is unique, and as we would not be there, it would simple be a rose!. Nothing more, no poetic symbolism for love, no romantic descriptions of its velvety red texture, just a physical existence!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

First, the definition of 'beautiful' is vital; it is different to different people!. But, moreover: defining something is a practice that only humans (as far as I know) dabble in!.

Perhaps animals may perceive it to be nice, pretty, or attractive!.!.!.but, then again, how can we know how these inferior brains/central nervous systems truly work and/or if they can even 'label' things correctly--thereby getting back to the issue of definitions!.

Your using human language so a rose could not be "beautiful" if humans were not there to define/name it!.

That's like the old "tree falling in the woods where no one is" story!. There'd be no humans to categorise it as beautiful, so no!. Unless of course there were some other living beings that decided roses were beautiful!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
