They're the same thing - look them up!. They both mean "predetermined outcome"!. I don't know why, but I prefer the word 'fate'!.

Either word you choose, fate can be a powerful thing!. The way I look at it is that God has a specific purpose for each person's life!. It can be insignificant, or it can be incredibly important!. 90% of people never know what their purpose in life is (hence, tons of questions to that effect in the Philosophy section)!. People have the freedom of will, but the end result will be the same no matter what decisions they make!.

So, my fate has already been chosen for me!. I can make whatever choices I want, and live my life as I want!. But, when I die, I will have fulfilled my purpose the same as if I made other choices!. It's comforting to know that no matter how far I stray from life's path, I will eventually make my way back to where I belong!. That is powerful!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Fate is something that happens to you destiny something that you work towards!. Fateful is an ominous word with ominous overtones, someone led by destiny is given purpose!.!.!.!.!.!.

Although neither is real!. Both are mere concepts and both are involved with drawing from the past or projecting into the future and bear no relevance upon this moment as it truly is!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ones fate and ones destiny would be the same!.

Both may be caused by ones karma or the consequences of ones actions!.

Perhaps if one changes ones karma, one might change ones destiny/fate!.
