Question: Why do you think we tend to become more and more indifferent especially in those moments!.!.!.!?
when everybody around gets more agitated about us!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
It is a defense mechanism!. We could react to the agitation by becoming more and more agitated ourselves -but that would eventually lead to an explosion (which would probably be counterproductive)!. Rather than do that, we shut ourselves out to the agitation and develop a tolerance to it!. Only when it's very specific, and from one very close to us, do we listen to it (because we know that not to do so would probably be counterproductive)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

!.!.!.I find this happens to me during periods of creativity!.!.!.I get focused and driven, sometimes even to the point of putting off meals or everyday chores!.!.!.in this way, others probably have the right to become annoyed with me, but, still, the allure of creating, building, fixing, anything like that, is stronger than their scornWww@QuestionHome@Com

omg Ahhhh! I am so going through that at times right now!.
I just want to lay down!.
I don't need it or want it or use it!.
Oh it can be nice but I really don't like it all the time, taking on more of my stresses than I do myself!. So silly sometimes & it is mine anyway, I can carry my own burden, not pass it on!.
That is what annoys me about Jesus, how dare he take on anything I didn't ask him to, what a drama queen he was :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
