Question: If money was no object, how would you use it or what would you do with it!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
A!. Invest enough so that my wife and I could live off the interest, including heath insurance and medical coverage for our kids!. We don't need luxuries and a fancy house to be happy!. The only luxuries we would probably get!? A new car for my wife and a new set of golf clubs for me!. Nothing fancy, though!. Oh, and one thing I saw years ago that really impressed me!. A man set up a trust account in his will to have a red rose delivered to his widow for the rest of her life!.

Knowing the living expenses were taken care of would free me up to devote more time to pursuits I like!. Bicycle riding, golf, volunteering time at the local schools!.

B!. Invest the rest in trust accounts to fund scholarships, charities and research off the proceeds!. We have certain ones that we give to now, but we can't afford more than about $125 a year for each!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If money was no object I would probably live my life pretty much the same!. I would buy a decent house, something a little expensive but nothing over the top, buy a dependable car for me, my husband, and daughter, donate money to help several charities!.

Another main factor that I would do would be to help my friend Michael!. He has CP and its hard to take him places because they are either not wheelchair friendly or it cost too much!. He would love to go to disney land (25 and never been there!.!.!.!.!.!.man that is sad) or even to see the ocean!. His wheelchair doesnt work in the sand so we would have to carry him of course but the gas and food to get there would be nice!. Give him a family vaction devoted to him and his family!. His mom built a house designed for him, but they never really get family time together!.

All in all I think the money would just be there collecting dust unless someone else wanted it after all the above was done!. There is more wants and needs in the world but if everyone in life had what they wanted then it wouldnt be much of a world at all!. No one would want to work for the money, no one would be proud to purchase a big item with their money, no pride, no respect, and everyone would be the same so we might as well all be dead!. God created everyone different and without that we have nothing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If money was truly no object it would have no purpose!.

There would be no need to use it!.

Our lives would not be constrained by how much brass in pocket we had!.

In that situation we would live by our true worth and not by the system of the 'haves and have not'!.

I wish money was no object it would make for a more balanced distribution of 'wealth'!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I like Steve's answer!. That widow rose trust is so sweet! Anyway, what would anyone do if they didn't have to work a day in their lives!? Nothing "productive" thats for sure! I'd sit in the garden of my small (ecofriendly) house and read books, write bad poetry, travel, ride my bike, go to movies and the theatre, fund my nephew and nieces and future children's college fund, buy off my parent's house then send them fully funded tours of Ireland, Italy wherever and whenever they wanted to go, buy them a condo near me in their old age with a live in nurse if they get sick and a driver to take them and their friends anywhere they want to go!.!.!.basically all the things that people want to do but can't because they have to work to make money!. =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

All of my dreams would come true, and for other people too! Without making this long and drawn out, if money was no object, people wouldn't have to worry where they are going to sleep or what they would eat! Animals would have decent shelters and wouldn't be put to sleep of course if in pain that would be different! You get my drift!Www@QuestionHome@Com
