Question: Does anyone like my theory on life!?
So I've been pondering this life thing for a long time and finally came up with my own theory!. It may seem simplistic, but who says it has to be complicated!? Okay, it starts with this so called big bang theory but what triggered it!? I got to thinking that there has to be a god, so my theory is as follows: God was everything, but he was lonely!. He decided to create a "friend", but if he created one just like himself he would still be lonely!. So he split himself in two total opposite masses so that they would be different, not realizing that being two separate masses they would be drawn back together at such a great force and would explode into what we call the universe!. And everything is drawn torwards eachother in an attempt to be reunited as a whole!. And we as humans feel that as love, which it is really!. Yes it is a sappy love story, but it makes sense to me!. Actually, you touch on a bunch of wonderful philosophies:
- Stephen Hawkings says it's impossible to know what happened before the Big Bang!. This is where many people like to insert the existence of God!.
- God splits in two opposite parts !.!.!. That's Yin/Yang!. Something similar is this: God is aware of himself, so you now have God and the reflected image of God!. Two parts with different natures!.
- Describing the force that binds the universe as Love makes me think of John Lennon or the Dalai Lama!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
I think the key to your theory is the feeling of longing to be at one with the universe!. Like Dostoevsky's Father Zosima said: '!.!.!.all is like an ocean, all is flowing and blending; a touch in one place sets up movement at the other end of the earth!.' All falls apart right at the part where you said "there has to be a god" explain to me if there has to be something to trigger/cause the big bang how is god suddenly there!. Classic case of "I got stuck"
